Usage Tips

Boiled or distilled water gives better results than tap water for perfectly transparent 3D ice cubes, whether you are making spherical or square shapes.

Below is my personal experience in creating 4 giant skulls.

Before Use:

It is recommended to wash the mold before use, or to bake it in the oven for 3-5 minutes if the silicone gives off a strong odor.

Step 1: Close the mold and ensure that the side groove of each skull is tightly sealed.

Step 2: Fill each skull with water through the top opening or prepare fruit jelly or a chocolate skull in it.

Step 3: Place in the refrigerator for about 6 hours.

Additional Tips for Making Clear Ice Skulls:

As mentioned before, using clean water is an important factor. Another key factor is controlling the cooling.

Cool the water slowly to increase your chances of getting a clear ice skull.

You can place it in the refrigerator at a lower temperature for a few hours, then transfer it to the freezer for an additional 4-6 hours.
